Newham College is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK offering courses at every level. It has invested millions of pounds in creating world-class facilities, with the aim of achieving the best standards of training for our students, in both vocational and academic course areas.

The College received OfSted ‘Outstanding’ status in the academic year 2008-2009 and operates a distinctive open access policy which sets Newham College apart other colleges within the FE sector. This means that all sections of the community are encouraged to study with Newham College and all applicants are offered college places (subject to objective criteria) to match their needs and aspirations. Students taking full advantage of this policy can effectively enrol at entry level, to gain useful basic skills, before progressing to higher level courses and finally enrolling for graduate degrees at our University Centre Stratford.

Recently Newham College has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) to work together towards developing a new state-of-the-art Skills and Enterprise Campus on the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, adjacent to the Olympic Stadium.

City of London West Ham Park
